Very nice!

I like it, too!

Please put a copy of that
in the tacked picture thread.

There are many things that happen really fast when you are
flying an airplane. There is no sense in rushing any of the others.

I would much rather be looking down at the runway, than up at it.

Built by Steve Henry in concert with Jim Pekola for a guy in Alpine, Wyoming
Mississippi Light Sport Did The Motor - 912ULS w/ Bully Hawk Turbo / Wiseco Pistons
Catto 2 Blade Prop
Twin Garmin GX3 Panel w/ HD Heater
Keep her in a hangar at KVPC- Cartersville, Georgia
Got her last December- Have flown it about 80 hours so far - my 1st tailwheel.
Only tailwheel I've ever flown other than an RV7 on few occasions.

Is that vinyl wrap or paint? I assume it's paint, but just checking...

Yes sir.... It is paint!
It's been absolutely crazy the reactions I get from fellow pilots and non-pilots alike with regard to the plane.
Most folks have never laid eyes on a photo of one before...let alone see one in person.
I think what surprises most is how tall a plane it is... Most comment on how high the pilot sits.
I lucked out in finding it and then even more than acquiring it.
Steve Henry has been very helpful...even though he actually built the plane for someone other than myself.... But being the current owner he has been quit graceful in his willingness to spend time answering my many questions over the last year.
I must also say that Ronnie and his son at Mississippi Light Sport have been more than helpful also.
Jim Pekola sent me an extra tail wheel and tire so I'd have a spare and he was nice enough to send me a ton of photos of the job as it progressed in doing his part in the airplane.... By the way his tail wheels are a "work of art'"!

The plane is a bit on the heavy side for a Super STOL... but still performs quite well!
The extra power of the "souped up" 912 is awesome!
The way the prop is pitched it will allow the engine to rev a little high if the throttle isn't managed properly.
I hope to continue my learning on flying the plane to its fullest capability....

SaWeeet !
It's true what you told me about attention. My buddies were even commenting Saturday, we went to a national Sonex fly-in up in Tennessee and all the Sonex guys were gathering around the SS :D

Beeee-u-ti-ful plane! Cartersville is not far from Cleveland, GA at our little 3000ft grass strip. You should fly over sometime. :)
