Strobe/Nav lights
Has anyone looked into a good strobe/nav wingtip light system? Is the one that JA sells the best option, or is there a reasonable and perhaps cheaper option?

Strobe/nav combo
I used the Kuntzleman double dual magnum. Haven't fired it up yet. It is light, easy to install, and others have recommended.

Jamie told me about the LED X-Pac Strobe kit that
Aircraft Spruce sells. P/N 11-04485, $399.00,
page 445 in the 2007 catalog.
It has a single cabin mounted power supply
with led position & anti-collision lights.
I want an LED set for lower power consumption,
and the combo means I don't have to wire
anything to my vertical stab & stobes are
a must. They will mount in the kit supplied
tip fairings.

There are many things that happen really fast when you are
flying an airplane. There is no sense in rushing any of the others.
I would much rather be looking down at the runway, than up at it.
