I've seen things that snap on the back of shoulder straps to keep them from sliding off your shoulder....
This is "my" version....I use 14 ft of elec wire for each set ( front & rear ) each one took about 15 minutes to tie the loom
each loom is about 12 in long.....

Macrem'e 101 , 5 easy steps
It's easy...
You just reverse the knot each time......UNLESS you want it to SPIRAL...
But that's a DIFFERENT knot....
The running order of these pictures will be....Start at the top ( this Post )
and continue down to the next post ( limit 3 pictures per post )

Re: Loose Shoulder Straps/ Fixed
.
Since I used this Knot again...I figured I'd post more examples.
I used Flat Rib Lacing (Doubled) for a better grip on the Yoke and the Flap handle
The lacing has a wax , which really help make Tight knots.
As I explained earlier in this thread...doing the knot the SAME each time ,makes it twist/spiral...
Alternating back and forth keeps the line/knot straight.
.
Oh, the color was done with a Blue Sharpie Marker... Then wiped off with Lacquer thinner
.
Gotta Fly...
.
.
PS When I attempted to do this knot this time.... I had to come back here and see how it was done again...
It's just Macrame.... But going around tubes and straps can be confusing at the beginning.

I have some pictures to add after changes...
I cut the first one I did "off"...
My second piece started a pattern... That's why I cut the first one.
.
Gotta Fly...
.
PS. I taught someone how to do it by putting a handle in the vise (Rubber hammer)
and tying the knot....He also experimented with sharpies, I have a Red white and Blue "Grip" on my Rubber Hammer... Cool
