Firestar1 Builders manual
Does anyone have a Firestar builders manual for sale? I have an 88 firestar1 that I am redoing, and would like to have the manual to refer to on a couple of items. If you have one you are no longer needing, I am interested in buying it, thanks!

My Firestar manual is 1998

I could take pictures of areas needed ...
Just slide twenty bucks under your laptop

Re: Firestar1 Builders manual
Just wondering about the weight and balance sheet for the kolb firestar 1. I have a 1998 model and would like to see if anyone has one available or does the W&B for the firefly the same as I have that one.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Firestar1 Builders manual
You could probably ask the Kolb factory ??? The only thing I would think MIGHT be different is the Angle of attack....
I think my FSII is set when the bottom of the wing is 11 degrees.... AOA
Then... the only thing different from doing a Weight and Balance is Pilot weight is at the Belly Button....
Fatter pilots can move this point FORWARD a few inches....

Re: Firestar1 Builders manual
They sent me a W&B sheet but it was from a firefly, that’s why I was asking if it were different form the Fs1.
Thanks

Re: Firestar1 Builders manual
The important stuff is Range.... in inches or percent..... and AOA at measurements...
Otherwise standard W&B measurements will give you the numbers to do the Math....
Compare the Firefly AOA and Range to the Firestar.... I don't remember my Range ( 21" - 25" ???? )
I'm still moving my stuff to my new house... I haven't unpacked anything, so I haven't seen my builder's manual yet
Gotta Fly...
PS I made a cool way to do my W&B... I "HANG" the front tires on scales...and let the Tailwheel rest on a scale...
It works very good... I have pictures somewhere.... Maybe in the TOOLS section here... Check it out at the top of the main menu.

Re: Firestar1 Builders manual
It's not in the Builders manual.... it's on the Blueprints....
I saw mine the other day when I was moving the last of my stuff...
Things are still in a pile , but semi organized...
I'll see what I can find... Also... I have my W&B numbers in the plane... Which is here now.
